Refrigerated product tracking

Antecedente

It was needed control the temperature in the distribution of shellfish. From its origin in static refrigeration chambers and to its destination, in the distribution to the different points of sale. The product was transported in refrigerated conditions between +0ºC and +4ºC to your destination

It was necessary to know what the temperatures had been during their storage in the chambers of origin, as well as the temperature and location during the journey of shellfish distribution.

Solution

For the cameras, we opted for capture models of temperature and humidity specifically designed for fixed points. For the distribution, it was decided to use models based on combining GPS and temperature.

All the data was integrated into a single panel so that the client could view the status of the product in real time depending on its location. They were also enabled weekly reports of the temperature and humidity conditions of all the chambers of the company 

Temperature alarms sustained over time were configured in the camera devices, with sending SMS to a control mobile.

On the devices in the distribution, they were configured battery alarms (for mobile devices) as well as geofence control for automatic notification of arrival at destination. Of course there was no shortage of temperature alarms defined by the client.

AI has been used to manage the automatic calibration of the devices so that they are adjusted to the actual temperature continuously
