CONTROL OF STORED PRODUCTS.

Antecedente

A company has various warehouses in Europe where it stores products for the food, pharmaceutical and other industries. Some of the products they store must maintain very specific temperature and humidity conditions and the levels must not be exceeded because the products can react and generate incidents in the warehouse.

Another issue that concerns them is that there must be a safe physical distance between the products that guarantees that they do not react. As they have many references, which are not always the same, they need have control very strict about the products to guarantee the security levels for its workers at all times.

From the headquarters in Spain, the management wants to have the status and location of each of the references considered dangerous and of a system that can generate an alarm If any of the products enters the zone, it is declared dangerous due to its proximity to another flammable or explosive product.

Solution

A geolocation system was available in each warehouse, through beacons to have products considered dangerous located.

All warehouses were integrated into a platform to visualize the location of these products in real time. Some work processes in the plants were changed and a Audi Trail system to have the information permanently updated.

They were finally implemented alarms of different levels of criticality depending on its risk to allow monitoring from the company and from the different external security companies that had to react to a possible incident.

They were generated periodic reports so that the management had all the details and security traceability in all its warehouses in Europe.
