Cold chain in supermarkets

Antecedente

A chain with 27 stores and with cold rooms to monitor I needed to know the status of the Cold chain in each chamber to guarantee the good condition of the products at all times.

Likewise, they wanted to know the impact on the air quality according to the number of people who were in the establishment in order to implement capacity rules that would guarantee consumer safety during their purchasing exercise.

From each store, the person in charge had to have access to the your center panel and from the chain headquarters, they had to be able to have access to all the store panels and have reports periodically to ensure the safety of products and consumers.

Solution

For the cameras, devices were placed to monitor temperature and humidity in each one of them. In addition, there was a acoustic alarm in the freezers so that when the doors were not closed properly, the user was immediately notified and could thus close correctly.

For air quality, a detector was placed in each center to measure the CO2 and PM 2,5 level. Additionally, a study was carried out over a period of 6 months during which a device was installed to count the number of entrances and exits in 5 of the centers and to determine the maximum recommended capacity per center.

All devices were displayed on the same platform panel, implemented alarms y notifications and were generated reports periodic so that management had all the detail and traceability of the safety of both the refrigerated and frozen products and the purchasing environment.

Finally, a AI model SLM (Small Language Model)  to improve communication with recursive clients that allowed a personalized offer to be made based on the needs of each family unit.
