Antecedent

In order to implement the BPD (good distribution practices) to comply with current regulations in pharmacies, we were asked to provide a calibrated system, that it was very easy to install and use, that it did not need to install any program and that it could monitor the temperature both in the pharmacy fridge and in the medicine storage room.

We were asked to have alarms and periodic reports. We were also told that all data should be consolidated into a common repository, even if the devices used were different.

A satisfactory solution

Different devices with different communication systems were evaluated that were suitable for different scenarios.

The devices were calibrated through a accredited body and the pertinent adjustments were made so that all the values received were within the calibration both at the report, panel and alarm level.

The alarms requested by email and SMS, one for both the product and possible power failures.

A very easy to view panel was developed for each pharmacy, which included a Audit Trail to guarantee the traceability of all the events produced, against a possible health inspection.

A model was created AI SLM with historical data from pharmacies to be able to continuously adjust the temperature sensors in real time.
