Improvements in the wine industry

Antecedente

The company, which has several wineries and a great tradition of wine production and wanted to have information in real time of part of the production processes (maceration, fermentation, pump-over and aging), so they were looking for a system that would allow them to monitor this information, without the need for complex installations.

The parameters to be controlled had to be the temperature, humidity and lighting in the cellar For this reason, they asked us to have a system to collect this data continuously for its control from their quality department in the offices, without having to travel.

On the other hand, they decided to dedicate a greater part of their production to the export to improve the company's results and looked for a solution to control this process, which could track shipments and help them reduce export incidents.

Solution

To control the production processes, devices were installed in the warehouses that allowed, without the need for installations, real time monitoring of the requested parameters. A panel was prepared that allowed each winery to have access to alarms on the controlled parameters. At the same time, a panel was prepared at the level of the entire group, which allowed the head office to have all the information in one comparative summary view.

In addition, they created periodic reports required by the quality department to have all the detailed information on a regular basis.

For the control of exports, we opted for a circular economy system which allowed the company to know the conditions in which its merchandise traveled and when it was delivered. All this through a simple mobile system that the operators used to track them. This system allowed them charge before the orders and control the level of service with contracted carriers.

Finally, the integración of the entire system and currently the company has all the data in its ERP and also continues to work with our platform (responsive system) at the operational level.
